Obituary: Stephen Michael Kelly

His Legacy… Kelly, Stephen Michael, age 67 passed away February 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Chelsea, MI. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Crawfordsville, IN to Billy and Wanda (Jones) Kelly. Stephen married the love of his life, Vicky Robinson, in Bloomington, IN in August of 1974. He was a pilot and captain for various airlines. Stephen enjoyed baling hay on the farm, working with tractors, riding motorcycles, reading, and collecting guns. He was also musically inclined, playing trombone and guitar. He received a Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University. He was a member of Quiet Birdmen’s Club, the NRA, and was a gun dealer. Stephen will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Stephen leaves behind his wife; and children, Amanda and James. He is also survived by his mother; siblings, David (Michele) Kelly of Waxahachie, TX, Beth (Joseph Rogers) Kelly of Norcross, GA; and niece and nephew, Joy and Michael. Stephen is preceded in death by his father.

His Farewell… Stephen’s Community Farewell was held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2 pm with a gathering prior at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Legacy Event Center, Manchester.
