The Manchester Sesquicentennial Planning Committee is holding its next Planning Meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 7 pm at the MAHS Kingsley-Jenter House located at 302 E. Main. Organizer Ray Berg stated, “We’ll continue with defining the events, schedule and volunteer assignments for this event, to be held August 1-8, 2017 celebrating the 150th anniversary of Manchester becoming a village.” The meeting notice with details can be viewed here: Manchester Sesquicentennial Celebration August 2017- March 21 2017 Meeting

The Planning Committee has also launched its fundraising campaign. They are looking for sponsors whose donations will help cover overhead costs of the event. Sponsors will be recognized at Sesquicentennial events and receive permanent recognition in the Commemorative Book which will published after the event. Sponsorship opportunities range from $25 to $1,000 and at higher levels will also carry benefits in the form of tickets to events. Full details are provided on the attached Sponsorship Application: Manchester Sesquicentennial Sponsorship Application – March 7 2017
