You are invited to the Semi-Annual Meeting for Farmer-Led Watershed Conservation on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 9am to 2pm at the LISD Tech Center, 1372 N. Main St., Adrian, MI 49221. The tentative agenda includes introductions, Lake Erie’s Impairment Designation presented by MDEQ and MDARD, Social Media/Marketing Strategy “Telling Your Story” presented by the Michigan Farm Bureau, Questions & open discussion, Lunch provided by LISD Culinary Arts program, a Tour of LISD Center for Sustainable Future with buses provided. Organizers would like all of the farmers of the Western Lake Erie Basin to form an educated network among one another to share thoughts, ideas, discussion, and suggestions on what they can do to help protect water quality and Lake Erie.
