Instead of using plastic eggs, the Men’s Club hand-dyes thousands of hard-boiled eggs for their annual Easter Egg hunt!

The Easter Bunny is going to be busy in the next couple of weeks making visits all-over Manchester. Here are four upcoming local events everyone is invited to:

On Saturday April 8th at 10 am, the Freedom Childcare Center will host their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Child Care Center’s grounds located at 8753 Pleasant Lake Road. Activities are geared toward children 10 & under, but everyone is invited to the free event. Activities include a visit from the Easter bunny, craft activities and lots of snacks for children and adults. For more information please call Freedom Childcare Center 734-997-9116

On Sunday, April 9, Sharon United methodist church will host their Annual Palm Sunday Brunch
& Egg Hunt at their Fellowship Hall located at the corner of M-52 and Pleasant Lake Rd, immediately following worship services. All ages are welcome to the event. Bring your own basket to collect Easter eggs, and a non-perishable food item that will be donated to Manchester Family services. The Annual Palm Sunday Brunch & Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Men of Sharon United Methodist Church and the Junior/Senior High Youth. Saturday April 15th, the Manchester Sportsman Club will host the 5th Annual Breakfast With The Easter Bunny. The Sportsman Club is located at 8501 Grossman Rd. Come enjoy All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes prepared by King Pancake Company from Belleville, MI. Breakfast will be served from 10am until noon. That this great breakfast won’t break the bank means that adults will enjoy this just as much as the kids! Ages 10 and up are $5. Kids from 4-9 are only $3 (with paid adult) and kids 3 and under are FREE (with paid adult). You can add sausage links and fruit for just $2 more. Beverage choices includes milk, juice, coffee and water, and are included in the price, as are free refills.The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance for pictures from 10:30am to 11:30am. Don’t forget your camera! The first 60 kids will receive a gift from the Easter Bunny. On Saturday, April 15th at 1pm, the Manchester Men’s Club will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Carr Park, located on West Main Street. Children will be separated into age groups with staggered start times and will search for dyed hard-boiled eggs, candy and special prize eggs. The Easter Bunny usually also makes an appearance. This event is free! Veterans of the event caution that it is over very quickly, so make sure you are not late.
