IMG_0814Freedom Township offers it’s residents recycling through the recycling bins located in the Freedom Township Town Hall parking lot. The Freedom Township Board reports that over the past several months the bins have been abused as a place to dispose of unacceptable materials such as wood, metal, oil, adult diapers and other things that are not recyclable. Township Supervisor, Dale Weidmayer stated, “The company we are contracted with has given us a warning about canceling our service if this does not stop. It is spring time, so let’s use them in the way they should be. The Township is providing this service for our township residents and we would like to continue offering it if it is used appropriately.”  The township board is asking everyone’s help in policing this.
