Obituary: Barbara Elizabeth Kuhn

Barbara Elizabeth Kuhn was born November 11, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan. Died February 17, 2017, in Manchester, Michigan.

Before she retired, she was a RN for many years in the Head Pain Unit of Chelsea Hospital. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Redford and went on to get her RN from Ferris and her LPN from Detroit.

Barb lived life to the fullest. She was fortunate enough to travel the world. She was a member of the Clinton Child Study Club, the Lenawee Town & Country Garden Club, and the Clinton Read’em & Eat Book Club.

Barbara is survived by her beloved son Ross, her brother Robert, his wife Jacqueline, and their children, Katie and Drew from Chicago. She was married for 28 years to Howard Kuhn and he survives. She was preceded in death by her mother Johnnie Cornwell and father Robert Anthony Cornwell.

A celebration of her life and funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea, Michigan. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Arrangements by Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea.
