Playing three games in five days the week after Spring break was always going to be difficult and although the team couldn’t get out of first gear, the Lady Dutch soccer program showed great resilience and determination beating D2 Tecumseh by 3 goals to 1.

Freshman Taylor Psarouthakis made her first career start at CB along side her Freshman counterpart Katelyn Toner after Maddy Andreone pulled out through illness. In all, The Lady Dutch started the game with 7 freshmen in the starting 11.

Manchester managed to put away 2 goals off well placed corner kicks by Mikayla Ball. Those corner kicks were finished by Rayna Edwards and Rylee Spitler.

Rayna managed to add her 2nd of the game with some great link up play between Emma Mrocko and herself before adding her 7th goal of the season.

The Lady Dutch continue to make errors on the field which ended up costing them; with Manchester in complete control, they gave away the ball in the middle of the field under no pressure. Tecumseh was able to capitalize with a well placed long range effort.

Manchester will now get the day off for Easter Sunday and will be back in action at Chelsea on Tuesday, with a 5:30 pm kickoff
