Super Heroes & Sidekicks – Mother Son Dance

On Friday, May 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the Manchester Community Schools Foundation will be hosting a Mother Son dance as a fundraiser in the Klager Cafeteria and Gym. This year’s theme is Superheroes & Sidekicks and the cost is $35 per couple with $5 additional for each extra boy, payable at the door. The event includes music to dance to, snacks and a 5″x7″ photo.

Because the Foundation has taken over the dance and it is not being hosted by Klager Elementary’s PTO, the dance is open to boys of any age, including pre-school, elementary school and middle school boys, and even home schoolers and students from neighboring districts. If mothers aren’t available to attend, grandmas, aunts, and even dads can attend with their boys.

The Manchester Community Schools Foundation supports students in the district through grants. The Foundation’s recent grants include $1,624 to Klager Elementary for Kindergarten science equipment, $300 to Manchester Middle School for Informational Texts for 5th grade math and ELA, and $2,000 to the Middle School/High School FIRST Robotics program. These grants are possible through the generous support of the community.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
