Tuesday night Manchester hosted Blissfield in a night that honored senior captains Delanie Osborne and Madison Andreone.

Right from the start of the game, the Lady Dutch showed their intent and set the tempo for the rest of the game. Within 25 seconds Hannah Woods got on the end of a Rayna Edwards cross to put the Lady Dutch up 1 – 0. Manchester never let off the gas pedal and continued to bombard the Blissfield goal with shot after shot. It wasn’t long before captain Delanie Osborne was on the board with a rocket to the back of the net.

Manchester went into the half up 6 – 0 and were able to show their support to the career of the team’s two seniors.

Manchester kicked off and was able to put the game to bed early with two more goals, to finish Manchester 8, Blissfield 0.

Friday night, Manchester hosted undefeated Hanover-Horton at Alumni Field in the ISL Crossover Championship game.

From the start it was a good battle, with the Lady Dutch looking to gain control of the game. It was Rayna Edwards who got on the score board first, finishing off a corner.

Unfortunately some bad Dutch defense saw Hanover-Horton reply with a goal of their own. Manchester hit back with 2 more goals from Delanie Osborne to make it 3 -1. But then defensive errors cost Manchester when Hanover-Horton struck again. Osborne completed her Hat trick to put the Lady Dutch up 4 – 2 in the first half. Hanover-Horton managed to claw one back before the half with some more errors at the back from the Lady Dutch.

After some stern words at half time from Head coach Sam Sibilski and assistant Caitlyn Clem, the Lady Dutch came out with more defensive composure and looked secure at the back.

Delanie Osborne was able to add her 4th goal of the game and Rayna Edwards scored her 2nd in the dying seconds to hand Hanover their first defeat of the season and name The Lady Dutch the ISL conference champions 2017!

Manchester will now host Clinton in districts on Tuesday, with a 5:30 pm kickoff at Alumni field.
