Jacob’s Inaugural Art Exhibit, held at the Pearl Street Studio in Ypsilanti on June 2, was well attended with many generous comments on his work. A big shout out to Khadijah Kolleck of MAKE Art inAnn Arbor and Carolyn McCarthy of Pearl Street Studio or making this happen. And a huge Thank You to everyone who stopped by, strolled through, met the young artist, and enjoyed a drink and a wonderful desert by Jessica Bushaw of Frank’s Place. Music was provided under the direction of Alden Rohwer on violin accompanied by Jacob on cello. Pearl Street Studio, an 1800s building, served as a unique backdrop for Jacob’s work. Look for Jacob at the upcoming Youth Art Fair on Monday, July 17th, where he will be displaying current and new work. For those of you who were unable to attend, here are some pictures of the event to enjoy.

Jacob presented one of his pieces to Allan Andrews, a very close family friend.

Jacob did this piece in 2016 for his Grandma Miller, who passed in February of 2017. Hi s father stated, “He caught the true essence of her, in his own way.”

Jacob and Alden Rohwer provided live music.
