This fall, St. Mary will be opening its doors to the community of Manchester as it offers its first Alpha Course. St. Mary’s Director Religious Education, Melissa Yekulis explained, “Alpha Courses are designed for anyone interested in learning about Jesus and God. You do not need to have prior knowledge of any religion to attend, only a curious mind to learn more.”

The weekly program will run on Tuesdays from September 12th through November 14th, from 6-7:30pm in St. Mary’s church basement, with additional non-Tuesday events. The courses will include a meal, watching a brief video, and closing with small group discussion. The program is offered to all Manchester residents at no cost.

To learn more, please join St. Mary for one of their “Come and See” events on August 10th or August 22nd from 6:30-8pm. Or you can register at the St. Mary Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 27th, or contact the Parish Office at 428-8811.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
