The Manchester area saw three men killed in two single-auto accidents early last week.

A second accident occurred last week on Tuesday, July 11. The Washtenaw County Sheriff Department stated that shortly before 10pm, a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling north on Parr Street at a high rate of speed. It left the road, just missed the Manchester sign, and crossed City Rd before breaking through the guardrail just east of the Raisin River, a short distance from the library. Both occupants, later identified as the driver Eli Rincon, 38, of Tecumseh, and 32-year-old Chad Humphrey of Clinton, were killed when the vehicle struck several trees in the ravine. The men have since been identified as employees of Martinrea, located on Parr Road near the crash site.
