Village and Manchester Township to hold joint 5-year recreation plan open house

Only a few miles of old railroad bed need to be acquired to connect a multi-use trail running from Manchester Village to Watkins Lake State Park and County Preserve.

Do you want Manchester to have a dog park? Do you want a multi-use trail running from downtown to Watkins Lake? Do you have concerns, questions or ideas about existing parks or the new riverfront park? Do you have concerns about recreation funding? Come to Manchester Village Hall Council Chambers located on the lower level of 912 City Road on Wednesday, August 23 from 6 to 8 pm, for an informal discussion regarding future recreation needs and opportunities in the Village and Township. Input will be incorporated into the 2018 Parks and Recreation 5-Year Master Plan. You can also provide input by completing a survey found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ManchesterRec2018.
