Local woman recognized as Student of the Year at Herzing University
Ashlee Jo Rothfuss, a 2012 graduate of Manchester High School, recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Herzing University Online, as part of the August 2017 graduating class.
Ashlee was nominated as Student of the Year by her Department chair, Alan Rossi, who said, “Ashlee reflects all the components of the P.R.I.C.E. of Success values in her day-to- day activities at Herzing. Her discussion posts and projects reflect professional standards; she shows her concern and respect for her peers and educators, is honest
in all interactions, and as previously mentioned her level of engagement is outstanding. Again I recommend her for this highly prestigious award.” Rossi added, “(Ashlee’s) capstone project titled, West Vibe earned (her) a perfect score and finishing (her) program with a 4.0-grade point average!”
Ashlee, the daughter of Chris and Karen Rothfuss, is currently working at the University of Michigan in the Office of Sustainability as a Graphic Designer. Her parents and younger sister Jenna are extremely proud of her and have seen how hard she has worked working full time during the day and going to school in the evenings. They are happy to see her hard work recognized.
