Some of the items that will be for sale at the Mini-Merchants Day at River Raisin Antiques on Saturday!

This Saturday, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, River Raisin Antiques is hosting a “Mini-Merchants Day” where kids can set up and sell their own creations!

The date is fast approaching, and owner Sue LaRocque says she has 10 young people signed up and ready to sell! Applications were due on Sept. 23, and no more entries are being accepted at this time.

“The kids will be out in front of the building from 11:30-1, or longer if they wish,” LaRocque said. “I’m looking forward to it!”

Hand made and hand crafted articles, antiques, and collectibles will be available from the “mini-merchants.” No food items will be offered for sale.

Some of the items for sale will include canvas art, framed prints, tie-dye shirts, felted animals and dryer balls, sculpted clay figures, dog toys, bookmarks, beaded bracelets, wooden Manchester signs, and more. Along with arts and crafts, the Cultural Arts Strings will play from noon-1 pm.

Come out and support our community’s children, who are very excited about this special event!
