National Walk to School Day Oct. 4

The rock at the former Middle School building is one of three meeting places for those kids (and adults!) who want to walk to school with others on Mondays and Wednesdays!

National Walk to School Day will be observed on October 4th.

Come join in on the fun here in Manchester! Meeting places are Wurster Park, and the former Middle School, which meet at 7:25 a.m. then leave at 7:30 a.m. Those groups then head to Chi-Bro Park to meet others who can arrive at 7:40 a.m. We leave that spot at  7:50 a.m.

“Walking is a great way to start the day!” says organizer and teacher, Kathy O’Mara. “Hope to see you there!”

Rumor has it that the mayor of Manchester is coming to join in on the fun. Come on and be part of the crowd!
