Two weekends ago during Christmas in the Village, the Manchester United Methodist Church held a special rummage sale. All money raised was for the Community Resource Center. Last Thursday Debbie Reinhardt and Sandy King, representing the church, presented a check for a little over $900 to Laura Seyfried, director of the Community Resource Center. Seyfried explained, “The Community Resource Center will use the donation to support our food pantry program.” Reinhardt and King had an opportunity to tour the food pantry when presenting the check and were impressed with the quality and quantity of groceries they are able to supply to their customers on a regular basis. Reinhardt told Seyfried about one rummage sale customer who gave extra at the sale, because she had been helped by the Community Resource Center in the past and now was able to give back.
