From the Sheriff Office:

On Tuesday February 13, 2018, at approximately 11:20 am, Sheriff Deputies and Traffic Investigators responded to Michigan Avenue near Neblo Road for a head-on traffic crash with injuries. Upon arrival and after extricating the two drivers and providing emergency medical services to both, one of the drivers, 29 year-old Jeremy Ryan Pinkley from Onsted, Michigan, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a 37 year-old female was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries via Med Flight. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and the case is under active investigation by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Unit.
