Finch Lee Roberts Sr. (1921 – 2018)

His Legacy… Finch Lee Roberts Sr., age 96, passed away March 16, 2018 at home with family by his side. He was born December 27, 1921 in Marine City, MI the son of Walter C. and Eva (Finch) Roberts. Finch married Rosemary Young on November 26, 1947 in Pontiac, MI. He served honorably as a United States Marine in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. Finch was a residential home builder in the Plymouth area before retiring and moved to Manchester in 1995. He was an irrepressible spirit, and had an amazing sense of humor. Finch loved to read, enjoyed history and had a great passion for all things related to aviation.

His Family… Finch will be missed by his children; Chris Roberts-Antieau of Manchester, Casey Roberts-Berke of San Diego, Carl Roberts of Brighton and Finch (Becky) Roberts of Manchester and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Rosemary and daughter Linda.
