The Manchester District Library is honored to once again host the annual High School Art Exhibition. This year’s show will launch with an open house and reception on April 13th, from 6 to 8 pm. The Art Exhibition is a juried show. Judges include local photographer Mary Bortmas, local potter David Nelson, and two former MHS graduates, Ashlee Rothfuss and Eve LeBert, who now have careers in the arts. This year the Exhibition includes a small number of works by Middle Schoolers as well. The event is free.

Can’t make the reception? That’s okay. The student art works will be on display until April 27. Come in and enjoy the colorful masterpieces, created by some of Manchester’s most talented up-and-coming artists.

Also coming up at the library, on Wed. April 25 at the 10 am story time there will be a special guest performance by Ron Loyd the Bubbleman. All ages welcome. On Wed April 25 from 6:30-8:30 pm there will be a Make and Take (felt Christmas ornament) with Helen Fisher. This event is free, but registration is required. On Fri. April 27 at 3:30 pm, the Library will be hosting a Free Movie (viewer’s choice: “Darkest Hour” or “Murder on the Orient Express”).
