Plans moving forward for Farm to Table Feast at Alber’s Orchard

Alber’s Orchard will host the upcoming Farm to Table Fabulous Feast this September.

This September 16th, 5 Healthy Towns Foundation will be holding its Third Annual Fabulous Farm-to-Table Feast at Alber’s Orchard to benefit the farmers markets in each of the five communities it serves. On Saturday, organizers held a planning meeting at which they announced four chefs are confirmed for the meal including chefs from Movable Feast, Common Grill, Tunk’s Kitchen, and Roaming Goat. Hot or cold apple cider will be served, depending on the weather.

Organizers are currently looking for event sponsors and donations to use as door prizes. Ticket sales and volunteer sign up will begin in mid June. If you would like to help plan the dinner, come to the next meeting on Wednesday, May 9th at 5 pm at the Kingsley-Jenter House at the corner of M-52 and Main St. If you can’t attend, but have ideas and/or would like to be involved in planning or volunteering for this event, email farmersmarket48158@gmail.com
