Last year’s ceremony in Wurster Park.

The Memorial Day this year is Monday, May 28th. Manchester’s Memorial Day parade will begin at 11am this year. As always, the parade is a solemn event that will begin with a ceremony on the Main Street Bridge, proceed west through town stopping at the memorial in Wurster Park for a second ceremony, and ending with a ceremony in Oak Grove cemetery.

Participants should meet at the Legion parking lot at 10:30am to line up. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts participating should meet near the Dairy Queen.

After the parade at 12:30pm, veterans, families of veterans and the public are invited to the Legacy Events Center (formerly the American Legion Hall) on Duncan Street for a potluck. Bring a dish to pass, your own table service and drink.
