Photo: ACES help keep kids healthy!
The annual ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously) Day was held on Wednesday, May 2 at Klager Elementary. Kids as far as the eye can see, spent an hour at the end of the day exercising around the track at the athletic complex. Project ACES was created by a physical education teacher in 1989 as a method of motivating children to exercise. The event is an international celebration of health, which emphasizes physical activity among students and helps combat childhood obesity. This event has been held at Klager for many years and always has great participation! Thanks to Kathy O’Mara and Ellen Supers for heading up this year’s event.
