Public Notice: Manchester Township zoning ordinance amendment hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manchester Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Manchester Township Hall Board Room, located at 275 South Macomb St., Manchester, MI 48158, on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. for the following purposes:

RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENTS ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE. 

Modify Section 2.0 – Definitions.  These proposed modifications add new definitions for campgrounds and modify definitions for recreational vehicles.

Modify Section 16.17 – Storage of Recreational Equipment.  This proposed modification exempts campgrounds from the section’s recreational equipment parking restrictions.

Add new Section 16.27 – Campgrounds. This proposed section includes standards for campgrounds within the Township. 

The full draft of the proposed Zoning Ordinance modifications can be viewed at the Township Offices, 275 South Macomb St., Manchester, MI 48158, during regular business hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon.
