Attention parents of children age 4-12 years old! Are you looking for free, fun, educational  activities for your children this summer? Operation Arctic is a free program to learn more about the Arctic region on earth, where there is snow and ice all year long.

Community Bible Church on Sharon Hollow Road in Manchester is hosting Vacation Bible School June 24 – 28 (Sunday – Thursday) from 6 – 8:15 pm. This free evening event promises to be fun time. There will be a full size igloo and cabin, science fun like making ice cream and ice castles, making crafts to take home like muffs, mittens, and a dog sled game, lots of music, singing, games, and snacks.

Beyond thrilling! Exciting to explore! Breathtakingly beautiful! Full of treasure! Words that describe the Arctic for sure, a fascinating region like no other place in the world. But these are also words that describe the coolest book on the planet – the Bible. Whether your children attend Sunday School regularly or have never been – this program offers a wonderful balance of learning about God’s creations on earth with fun activities about these arctic creations.

Registration will be at the Manchester Farmers Market on June 7th and 14th from 3:30 – 7 pm or you can register on the first night of the program, June 24 starting at 5:30 pm (program starts at 6 pm). Community Bible Church is located at 8400 Sharon Hollow Rd, Manchester, MI. If you have questions, call Pastor Ron Clark at 734-428-8709.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
