Derek Brickley was honored as Student of the Month at the Manchester Community Schools Foundation meeting in June.

The May 2018 Manchester Community Foundation Student of the Month for Manchester High School is Derek Brickley. Derek is the son of Brian and Lisa Brickley. He is the secretary of the Manchester High School National Honor Society and a member of Student Council and Spanish Club. He has played football for Manchester High School for the last three years and ran cross country for four years. Derek has been in scouting for eight years and is the Senior Patrol Leader of Manchester Boy Scout Troop #426. He will be earning his Eagle Scout Award in May of this year.

Derek plans to pursue his Bachelors Degree and play football at either Kalamazoo College or Lawrence University.
