Here at the Manchester District Library, summertime is reading time! But the Library is about all kinds of summertime pleasures, not just reading. Especially the kind that keeps you cool on a hot summer day. To commemorate Summer Reading being half over, the staff of the Library is hosting an Ice Cream Social Fri. June 29 from 3pm to 5pm in the Village Room located on the lower level of the library, 912 City Road. We assure you, this isn’t just any ice cream social. Not only will there be ice cream…and sprinkles (of course), but there will also be some fun activities that tie into this year’s Summer Reading theme “Libraries Rock”, including: music (provided by Prime Tyme Entertainment); a Photo Booth (provided by AJ Vanderbok); and face painting.

Bring your family and friends for some wholesome, family-friendly fun.
