5th Annual Manchester Street Festival this Saturday!

2016 Street Festival

Manchester’s 5th Annual Street Festival will take place this Saturday, August 4th, downtown in the Village on Main Street and Adrian Street.

Here is a schedule of events:

7:30 am Run Manchester 5K & 10K Registration (see below for more information)
8:30 am Kids 1 mile Fun Run
9 am Run Manchester 5k &10k begin
9-11 am Pancake Breakfast in front of the Mill, $5 per person, $3 per ages 4 to 9, 3 & under eat free
10 am-1 pm Touch A Truck along Main Street
10 am-5 pm Men’s Club Car Show located along Clinton & Washington Street.
10 am-5 pm Vendor & Artisan Market
10 am-5 pm Food Trucks including Petey’s Donuts and Jamaican Grill
11 am-2 pm Kids’ Field Day & Obstacle Course
11 am-4 pm Mill Tours (sign up starts at 10am)
11 am-5 pm Kids Corner & Bounce House
11 am-5 pm Kids Bike Decorating & Course
11 am-5 pm Taste of Manchester
11 am-5 pm Doggie Pit Stop
2-5 pm Dunk Tank
2-5 pm Road Rally Scavenger Hunt (registration starts at 1 pm)
3 pm Co-op Preschool’s Duck Race at Main Street Bridge, 1 duck for $5 or 5 for $20

All proceeds to go to Manchester Community Schools Foundation and the Student Groups volunteering to help put on this event.

Sponsors for the Street Festival include AMCOR, Proper Property Services Inc, State Farm Donnellon Insurance Agency, Manchester Eye Care Center, and Manchester Wellness Center. Without them, this event would not be possible.

Run Manchester 5k 10k

Starting in historic downtown Manchester you will run through quaint neighborhoods, past award-winning schools, and finish back downtown where your medal awaits. The recently redesigned USATF certified course is sure to be fun and exciting.

Packet pickup and onsite registration starts at 7:30 am.

Kids 1-mile fun run to begin at 8:30 am, with the 10K/5K to start after the fun run at approx 9 am.

Bring a canned food item donation to benefit the Manchester Community Resource Center and be entered into a raffle the day of the race.

$30 to register for the 5K and $35 to register for the 10K. Day of Run registration will be charged an additional $5 entry fee.

Proceeds from this race support the Manchester Schools robotics teams.
