Manchester’s Third Thursdays just keep getting bigger and better! A hard-working core group of community members are really making an effort to find fun and exciting new activities each time. It’s a great way for you to “Make it Manchester” at least one evening per month.

If you haven’t been to a Third Thursday event, this week will be a great time to try it out! The lineup for August 16 includes:

• Pop-Up Artist & Makers Market on Adrian Street
• Fairy Door Hunt (see related article)
• Decorate your own Fairy Door – ($5 fee includes supplies. Located in the vending area)
• Dance With Heart Studios – street performance at 6 pm
• Taste of Manchester – at various Manchester restaurants
• Sidewalk Chalk Art activity for kids
• Street Performers including: John Louis Good and the Rose City Troubadours (Rockabilly Music 6-8 pm), Divine Shimmies Belly Dance (Shannon Seidelman & friends 4-8 pm), David Gander of Shenanigans (Irish Folk Music 4-8 pm), Mike Hammer Accordion (4-8 pm), Mark Druckmiller – Keyboardist (at the Two Black Sheep Restaurant (4-8 pm), and Singe – Fire Twirler (AKA Mandy Claire Howery).
• Sidewalk Chalk Art by Chris M. Monaghan
• Face painting & henna ink by The Facepaint Faerie (4-8 pm)
• BYOB Yoga at Exhale Yoga (6:30-7:30 pm)
• $1 Flowers available at the Flower Garden (4-8 pm)
• The Blacksmith Shop will be open with demonstrations (4-8 pm)

• Photo booth by Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment DJ & Photo Booth Services
• Fairy Festival with a variety of events Manchester Michigan Farmers Market (see related article) (3:30-7 pm)
• Singer/Songwriter Night at the The Village Tap (8-10 pm)
