President Trump starts a trade war that punishes America’s farmers. Trump loosens air quality standards for coal-fired power plants, which will cause the premature deaths of an estimated 1,400 Americans annually. He demands our attorney general target Trump’s political rivals. He implements immigration policies that destroy families and scar children for life. Trump pulls the U.S. out of a world-wide agreement to reduce the harm of climate change. He blames “many sides” for white nationalist-incited violence in Charlottesville. He signs a tax plan that handsomely rewards the wealthy while sending national debt skyrocketing. He cozies up to autocrats, most notably Russia’s Vladimir Putin. He demonizes our free press, an irreplaceable barrier between democracy and dictatorship. He employs people such as Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen, both now convicted felons.

Meanwhile, U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, the elected voice of Michigan’s 7th District in Congress, says – and does – nothing.
