Family Harvest Picnic set

On Sunday October, 7, the Washtenaw County Farm Bureau Young Farmer Committee will be hosting a Harvest Picnic for local families to enjoy. The event will be held at Hilltop Greenhouse in Ann Arbor (8996 West Liberty Rd., Ann Arbor, MI). This is a free event for the whole family to enjoy!

This will be a great opportunity to come, meet local farmers, and hear about what they are doing to keep up with modern agriculture. The event will run from 4 to 7 pm and includes a FREE dinner, which starts at 5 pm. Following dinner, there will be a panel discussion for attendees to ask our panel of young farmers, mothers, and distinguished agriculturalists any questions they have about how your food made it on to your plate, and what sorts of decisions go into their own food purchases.

During this time, there will be fun, supervised activities available for your children to enjoy. Following the panel discussion, there will be door prizes.
