Library seeking patrons’ reviews of books
by Amelia Herron, Manchester District Library
Have you ever read a book and loved it so much you wish you could scream it from the rooftops? Have you ever read a book and hated it so much that you wish you could tell everyone you know never to read it? Well whether you’ve felt the former, the latter, or even a mixture of the two, Manchester District Library wants to hear about it! Head over to the MDL website to look at books reviewed by your fellow patrons. You can even submit a review right from the website; or if you prefer a more traditional route, visit the library and pick up some paper review forms. These can be found at the front desk. Both the paper and digital forms are exactly the same, so don’t feel like you’re missing out if you prefer one or the other. To find the reviews and the review forms on the website, go to the “More” tab and click on MDL reviews. There is no name or email required and all reviews are completely anonymous, so feel free to be as truthful as you want. In fact, we prefer it!
