October 3rd Thursday line-up!
The last of this summer’s 3rd Thursday events is happening this Thursday, October 18 in downtown Manchester!
Special events happening from 4 to 8 pm include the Artist, Makers & Vendors Market on Adrian Street; hayrides through town sponsored by River Raisin Antiques; Alber’s Cider & Donuts Sale benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Manchester; Manchester Rocks with paint and hide “spooky” rocks; Van Helsteam, a steampunk-themed DJ; Violin Monster, a wandering monster violinist; Mandy Claire Howery, a Singe fire twirler; Shenanigans, Irish Folk Music; Mike Hammer on the accordion; keyboardist Mark Druckmiller at Two Black Sheep Restaurant; a photo booth by Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment, and Face painting & henna ink by The Facepaint Faerie. The Manchester Area Historical Society’s Blacksmith Shop will be open with demonstrations. Flowers will be for sale for $1 at the Flower Garden. And, between 6 and 8 pm, Divine Shimmies Belly Dance by Shannon Seidelman & friends will perform.
The Shoppes of Alber Mill will be offering a free kids craft from 4 to 6 pm and hosting a pet costume contest at 7 pm! The pet costume contest is sponsored by Proper Property Services, Inc. and will be held in front of The Shoppes of Alber Mill. Judging will be at 7:15 pm sharp. There will only be ONE winner announced, and a grand prize will be given! Participants will have the opportunity to purchase pet portraits from Unforgettable Photos. Inside the Shoppes of Amber Mill, everyone is invited to “Inform Your Flow,” a free intro yoga class at Exhale Yoga running from 6:30 to 7:40 pm.
Thursday is also the second to last Manchester Michigan Farmers Market of the season from 3:30 to 7 pm at Chi Bro Park and Singer/Songwriter Night at the The Village Tap from 8 to 10 pm.
