Manchester volunteers nominated for recognition
Every year for the past 31 years, the Manchester Community Resource Center has held a banquet at which local organizations can recognize someone for their volunteerism. In addition to the recognition each nominee receives, a few are selected by a panel of community members to receive special awards. Who will receive these special awards is kept secret until the end of the banquet.
The banquet, which will happen this Saturday, November 3rd at 6:15 pm at the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea dining room, also includes a delicious catered meal, appetizers, drinks, a silent auction, live auction, and door prizes. Tickets are still available for $50 per person and can be purchased from the Community Resource Center by calling 734-428-7722.
