Obituary: Thomas O. Newby

Thomas Osorio Newby, 1930-2018

His Legacy… Thomas Osorio Newby, Age 87, passed away October 22, 2018. He was born on November 24, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Thomas and Hilda (Osorio) Newby. Thomas served honorably in the U. S. Army. He was a farmer in the Manchester area for over 50 years. Thomas worked at the Chrysler Proving Grounds and was a member of the UAW. He was animal lover who enjoyed the stock market and had a deep devotion to his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Thomas will be missed by his cousins Kristin (Michael) Westmore of Ottawa, Wisconsin with whom he lived recently. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

His Farewell… A private farewell service was held at Borek Jennings Funeral Home: Manchester Chapel with burial taking place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Manchester on Friday, October 26, 2018. Memorial contributions may be given to HAWS.
