With 2018 Christmas in the Village coming to a close, organizers have announced the winners of this year’s contests! All photos courtesy of Christmas in the Village organizers.

The Festival of Trees winner was the snowman tree sponsored by Linda Milkey, Realtor at the Charles Reinhart Co. and decorated by the Manchester Fair Queen. It received 123 votes of canned goods. The Festival of Trees collected a total of 392 canned goods in total for the Community Resource Center’s food pantry.

The winning cookie in the cookie contest was the Oatmeal Cherry Drops! But, the winner hasn’t claimed the prize. Do you know who baked the winning cookies? The sales from the Cookie Contest raised $100 for the American Legion Auxiliary.

The winner of the Twas the Night Before Christmas Scavenger Hunt was Kory Vetitoe.

There were two Parade Contest winners. The winner in the Best ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Theme category was the MHS Spanish Club. The winner in the Best Classic Christmas category was Logan Reppert. The winner in the Most Manchester Spirit category was the MHS Marching Band.

There were three winners in the 2018 Resident Outdoor Decorating Contest. In the “Best ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” category, the winner was 128 Riverside Drive. In the “Most Clark Griswold/Over The Top” category the winner was 728 Glen Oak Dr. In the “Runner Up Best ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” Theme category, the winner was 430 Territorial. Be sure to drive by and check out all of the homes that participated this year including 20650 Bethel Church, 803 E Main, 622 Sunset 128 Riverside Dr

The Business Decorating Contest had two categories. In the category of Best Holiday Spirit, the winner was Kellie’s and the runner up was The Shoppes of Alber Mill.
