Obituary: Terry Ritter

Terry J. Ritter, 1963-2018

Terry James Ritter, age 55 of Manchester, passed away, December 13, 2018. Terry was born on January 2, 1963 in Albion, MI to Kenneth W. and Ardis L. (Sonier) Ritter. He married the love of his life, Amy Jo Fulger on April 19, 1986 at Pilgrim Congregation Church, in Lansing. Terry loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved going to Detroit Tiger games with his family and never missed watching an MSU football or basketball game. Terry brought life and laughter to any event he was at. He never left without saying I love you. He was a dedicated dad who always supported and believed in his children in sports, activities, and throughout their lives. He will be remembered as a great husband, dad, grandpa, brother,
and friend.

Terry will be missed by his wife Amy; children Josh (Lauren) Ritter of Jackson; Kyler Ritter of Manchester; Kelsie Ritter and fiancé Chris Beeler of Ionia; sisters, Karla (Jon) Cody of Laingsburg, Karen Leverett of Spring Branch, TX, grandchildren, Raelynn Ritter and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Terry’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4-8:00 pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Manchester Chapel. The celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 am, with gathering beginning at 10 am at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Manchester Chapel. Pastor Earl Jameson to officiate. Burial to follow at Oakgrove Cemetery, Manchester. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wounded Warriors Project or The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Michigan Chapter.
