The start of a new year is the perfect time to take a good, long look at a lot of things—especially your finances. Did I hear a groan? Sure, all that estate planning stuff can be intimidating if you don’t know where to start. What’s the difference between a revocable and an irrevocable trust, and do you need a trust, anyway? What’s a QTIP? Or a GST exemption? It’s enough to make your head spin. And about as much fun as a root canal…without the gas. We get it.

But have no fear. The Manchester Library has great news. We’re here to help you get the answers you need. On Saturday, January 26 at 11 am, the library is hosting a free estate planning presentation by local attorney, Laurie D. Brewis, “Wills, Trusts, and Power of Attorney: What You Need to Know.” The presentation will be in the Village Room, on the lower level of the library (912 City Road). Questions? Call 734-428-8045.

Come in and learn why now is the time to make some important decisions … for the sake of the people you love.
