Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce elects new officers

Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce held its first official board meeting of 2019 on January 7th. The board elected the 2019 officers including president: Jennifer Wojtowicz of Proper Property Services, Inc.; vice president: Barry Allen of Manchester Lions Club; treasurer: Tammy Melcher of Old National Bank; secretary: Kathy Dimond of Manchester District Library; and trustees Steve Alber of Alber Excavating, Elizabeth Beaudoin of Manchester Vet Clinic, Linda Stevens of Village Hair Forum, and Sue LaRocque of River Raisin Antiques.

Additionally, the Chamber board appointed Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors who will encourage membership, attend members’ events, attend MACC functions, and serve as the mouthpiece of the Chamber. The ambassadors include Steve Alber of Alber Excavating, Angie Buono of Proper Property Services, Inc., Cindy Clark of Comerica Bank, and Linda Stevens of Village Hair Forum.

The Chamber decided at the end of last year to change formats from a monthly, weekday, lunch meeting to a quarterly, evening mixer with alcohol.
