School board selects officers & committee representatives

Manchester Community Schools Board of Education held its organizational meeting last Monday. Chris Fegan was elected president, Tom Mann was elected Vice President, Rebecca Harvey was elected secretary, and Karen Rothfuss was elected treasurer.

Committees were determined. Mike Austin, Chris Fegan, and Tom Mann will make up the building and grounds committee. Tom Mann, Karen Rothfuss, and Michael Tindall will make up the finance committee. And Chris Fegan, Rebecca Harvey, and Jeremy Koch will make up the personnel committee.

Ad hoc committee board representatives and liaisons were also selected as follows: Food service – Jeremy Koch; Community Education – Chris Fegan; District School Improvement – Mike Austin and Karen Rothfuss; Health Advisory – Chris Fegan and Tom Mann; Community Resource Center – Mike Austin; Education Foundation – Chris Fegan; WASB Representative & WASB LRN – Jeremy Koch; SRSLY – Karen Rothfuss; Klager Building Liaison – Rebecca Harvey; Riverside Building Liaison – Michael Tindall; and Jr & Sr High School Building Liaison – Tom Mann.

Upcoming school board meetings in 2019 are February 11, March 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16. Meetings are held at 6 pm in the media center (library) of Riverside Intermediate School, located at 710 East Main Street.
