Annual Ice Skating Party a success

The Manchester Mens Club held their annual ice skating party in Wurster Park, Saturday afternoon. Austin Scott of the Mens Club stated, “The party went great. We had a good turnout and it was fun to see so many people enjoying the ice rink. There was a lot of hot chocolate drank and a lot of smiling faces.”

Although we had very cold weather two weeks ago, the warm ups last week meant it was touch and go. Scott credits the great skating surface to the hard work of Dan Fleck. “Next year, we’re going to make the rink bigger and get it done sooner so we can all have more time to enjoy it. Thanks to all who attended and we hope everyone enjoys using the rink!!” Scott stated.
