Public welcome at PLPOA annual meeting–State Senator Lana Theis to speak

State Sen. Lana Theis will be guest speaker at the Pleasant Lake Property Owners Association’s annual meeting on April 27.

The Pleasant Lake Property Owners Association (PLPOA) will hold its annual meeting from 10 am to noon on Saturday, April 27 at Zion Lutheran Church, 3050 S. Fletcher Road in Freedom Township. The meeting includes breakfast.

Special guest speaker will be Senator Lana Theis, representing the 22nd Senate District of Michigan, which covers all of Livingston County and western Washtenaw County, including Ann Arbor (part), Chelsea, and Dexter; and Bridgewater, Dexter, Freedom, Lima, Lodi, Lyndon, Manchester, Northfield, Saline, Scio, Sharon, Sylvan, and Webster Townships. Theis currently serves as Assistant President Pro Tempore of the Michigan Senate. She chairs the Senate Insurance and Banking Committee and Senate Education Committee, and is vice-chair of the Senate Regulatory Reform Committee. She also serves as a member of the Economic and Small Business Development; Health Policy and Human Services; Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR); and Oversight committees.
