Mark your calendars for 2019 Math & Science Night, coming up on Friday April 26th from 6 to 8 pm at Klager Elementary School located at 405 Ann Arbor Street. All are welcome to attend and enjoy this free community event that will feature a large number of interesting, local, hands-on museum-quality math and science-focused attractions. As usual, the event will include exotic animals that can be held or petted and a rocket launch with U of M Student Aeronautics Club outside at the end of the evening.

Additionally, topics include the Big Red Barrel by SRSLY, Dental Health by Adiska Family Dental, Embryology of Chicks and Chicken Rearing by Washtenaw’s 4H Poultry Supervisor, Groundwater and Surface Water Models by River Raisin Watershed Council, an Instrument Petting Zoo and Music by Cultural Arts Strings, Rock Collecting by Sherry Haas, Straw Rockets by the Manchester Library, Square Foot Gardens and Composting by Ruth Van Bogelen, and Spinning and Fibers by Heather Barthell. Riverside Intermediate and Manchester High School’s Robotics Teams will be there and the 5th and 6th grade students of teachers Kerry Wolf and Erica Kranz will present Puzzle Challenge and VEX Robots.
