MUMC Spaghetti Dinner

On Sat. April 13 from 5 to 7 pm, the Manchester United Methodist Church’s youth group is hosting a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for their Summer 2019 Mission Trip. The dinner will be held in their fellowship hall, located on the lower level of the church at 501 Ann Arbor Street. They will be serving a delicious meal of spaghetti, bread, salad, and drink. Suggested donations are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Additional desserts will be offered in a silent auction. In addition to the desserts, the youth will also be auctioning off George and Carol Boone’s homemade one-pound-a-piece-elk-meat-filled pasties!

As they did last summer, the Youth Group will head to Michigan’s upper peninsula in July to work with God’s Country Cooperative Parish (GCCP). A group of seven United Methodist churches across four counties, GCCP ministers to local communities by providing basic home repairs, a free store, assistance with heating bills in the long winter, and other needs.
