Road commission sets work schedule for week of April 15

The Washtenaw County Road Commission has published its schedule that includes road work for the upcoming week — Monday, April 15 through Sunday, April 21, 2019. All schedules are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances.

Local Manchester-area roads that will be affected by this week’s scheduled work by the road commission include the continuation of work on the Sharon Valley Road bridge between Prospect Hill and Lamb Roads in Sharon Township. This section of road is completely closed due to the bridge replacement. Work on this site is expected to be complete in June 2019. Check here for a detour map.

Also in Sharon Township, there will be intermittent lane closures throughout the week of April 15, on Easudes Road between Prospect Hill and Jacob Roads. There will be forestry work done along the road during this time. Work is expected to be complete this week.

In Freedom and Lodi Townships, Parker Road between Austin and Pleasant Lake Roads, will have intermittent lane closures for drainage improvements. This work is also anticipated to be complete during the coming week.
