May 4 is National Comic Book day! You know what that means—the Manchester District Library is celebrating. On Friday, May 3 from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Village Room, the Library will be giving away free comic books (generously donated by Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor). Who doesn’t like free comic books, right? Better yet, during the event, kids can enter for a drawing for the complete Amulet Graphic Novel Series. The winner will be selected at 5:30 pm by random drawing and need not be present to win. So, grab your kids after school and bring them in for some comic-book-day fun!

(The fine print: 1 comic book and 1 entry into the drawing per child. Free comics for children ages 5 – 18. Library card not needed to receive a free comic book or participate in the drawing.)

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
