Sharon Township 4/11/19 Board Meeting Synopsis:
The Sharon Township Board held its April Board meeting on April 11, 2019 at the Sharon Town Hall. There were 10 public attendees. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Roll Call: Guysky, Mikel, Cooper, Simons: PRESENT Psarouthakis: ABSENT. Approval of the agenda. There were no public comments. General Reports were given. Taxes are now due to the County. The Planning Commission reported on their public hearing for the Sharon United Methodist Church Parsonage special use application and recommended approval to the board. Discussion took place on moving forward with David Arthur Consultants and further discussion will take place at the May meeting. Discussion took place on the Manchester Village Citizens Advisory Committee meetings that have taken place in regards to the Village becoming a City, the township’s concerns were discussed and it was suggested that residents attend future meetings at the Manchester Village Council Chambers on May 7th and 21st and June 4th and 18th at 7:00pm. The Board unanimously approved the Sharon United Methodist Church Parsonage Special Use application. The warrant report was approved. The meeting adjourned at 8:03 pm.
