Sharon Township 5/2/19 Board Meeting Synopsis: 

The Sharon Township Board held its May Board meeting on May 2, 2019 at the Sharon Town Hall. There were 11 public attendees. The meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Roll Call: Guysky, Mikel, Cooper, Psarouthakis: PRESENT Simons: ABSENT. Approval of the amended agenda. There were no public comments. General Reports were given. 2018 Taxes have been closed out. 2019 taxes will go out July 1st. The Planning Commission reported that they are working on the Bluteau special use review, next meeting on that will be May11th at 7pm. Discussion took place on moving forward with David Arthur Consultants Psarouthakis and Township attorney are moving forward with it. Discussion took place on the Manchester Village Citizens Advisory Committee meetings that have taken place in regards to the Village becoming a City, Psarouthakis and Guysky were in attendance. The township’s concerns were discussed and it was suggested that residents attend future meetings at the Manchester Village Council Chambers on May 21st , June 4th and 18th at 7:00pm. **THE VILLAGE COMMITTEE IS REQUESTING THAT CITIZENS WITH COMMENTS OR CONCERNS SHOW UP TO THE MAY 21ST MEETING AT 7:00 PM** Mikel appointed Chris Holda as the new Sharon Township Deputy Clerk. The board discussed and approved The Manchester Mirror as the new official Township Publication. The 2019/2020 BUDGET HEARING MEETING WILL BE HELD JULY 6, 2019 and there will be NO JULY meeting. The JULY MEETING will be held JUNE 27, 2019–this will also be the BUDGET ADOPTION MEETING. The warrant report was approved. The meeting adjourned at 7:49 pm. 

Next meeting is the 2019/2020 BUDGET HEARING meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 7:00pm.
