Letter to the Editor: Where are our Senators?

To the Editor:

Currently our border with Mexico is under siege from Central and South American citizens who wish to come to America for a better life. It seems that a very small percentage of those seeking sanctuary are legitimate. But they are simply trying to gain access to our system of Social freebees. Free Medical Care, Free Housing, Free Food and a free education for their children. Our Immigration Laws are a disgrace and neither political party wishes to correct the problem. So I have to ask our two Senators the following question? Ms. Stabenow and Mr. Peters: What are you doing to change the Immigration Laws? I have seen no bills in the Senate? Who is paying for this? Every single illegal trespasser into our country cost the taxpayers up to $116 BILLION DOLLARS a year. This is a very conservative estimate. Our country is currently $22 Trillion dollars in dept. A large part of this figure was stolen from Social Security. So tell me Senators. After we allow these trespassers into our country and we find them a place to live. We get them on food stamps. WE enroll their children into a public school. We force that school to have teachers who speak their language taking resources away for the children enrolled at the school. We then have to find the parents a job so we need to put them to the front of the line ahead of American workers. I keep asking these questions from our two Senators and the only response I receive is that they know more about this problem then I do. And how much is enough? One million more illegals?  Five million more illegals?  Ten Million—-Twenty Million? Your voters want to know if you support the Constitution of the United States or the welfare of citizens from other countries. Tell you Senators to work with the President to fix this problem.
