Road work this week

Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is planning to start this week on an asphalt overlay and pavement repairs on M-52 running from US 12, just south of the Washtenaw/Lenawee County line, to Austin Road. Work is scheduled between 9 am and 8 pm daily and has a final completion date anticipated to be June 27.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission also has several projects in our area this week. 

There will be intermittent lane closures on Ernst Road between Bethel Church Road and Reno Road in Freedom Township through Thursday, May 23 for gravel resurfacing. This was rescheduled from last week because of weather delays. 

In Sharon Township, in addition to the ongoing closure of Sharon Valley Road at the bridge between Prospect Hill Road and Lamb Roads, Struthers Road will have intermittent lane closures between Grass Lake Road and Jacob Road for drainage improvements through Thursday, May 23.
